Le clan MacLachlan est considéré comme l'un des anciens clans écossais historiquement assis dans le vieux château Lachlan qui tombe à Argyle et Bute à côté du Loch Fyne. La famille MacLachlan aurait construit ce château au XVe siècle. En 1745, le chef du clan MacLachlan a étendu son soutien à l'armée de Bonnie Prince Charlie pour combattre dans la rébellion jacobite et la bataille de Culloden, mais le chef est mort pendant cette bataille, laissant le château sans armes. On dit que les Anglais sont venus sur la terre et ont détruit le château, mais il n'y a aucune trace officielle de cela. Mais ce que l'on sait, c'est que le château a été abandonné en 1746 et depuis lors, il a été transformé en ruines.
Le nom Lachlan possède deux significations différentes. L'une de ces significations est « étranger », car le nom Lachlann signifie étranger en gaélique.

- Tartans: For some tartans woven to order, the weaving process takes approximately 4-5 weeks.
- Shipping Locations: Delivery times may vary based on your location, and some regions may experience longer shipping periods.

Returns & Refunds
At Scottish Kilt Shop, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you're not happy, we offer a 30-day return policy on most items. Return Eligibility:
- Returns: Most items are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)
- You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
- Exchanges: If you'd like to exchange an item, simply place a new order and return the original item after approval. Only defective or damaged items will be eligible for exchange.
- Order Cancellation: Refund requests must be made within 2 days of placing the order if you wish to cancel.
- Once the order is dispatched, we are unable to process cancellations or refunds.
- If the order has been made but not yet dispatched, a 25% restocking fee will apply.
- Shipping Fees: Shipping costs will not be refundable after dispatch.
- Order Changes: We understand plans can change. If you’d like to adjust your order, we’re here to help. Some modifications may involve extra charges.
